Culinary Fields Haig Park is a proposal for an atmospheric informal eating venue. Developed for Design Studio, the project is centered around ideas of concealment and reveal, inspired by the chosen location within Haig Park, on the bend.
Individual pavilions are scattered throughout the site, linked via a linear grid, or sometimes manifest in physical tectonic connections. The pavilions playfully explore concealment and reveal through raised walls, openings overhead, and translucent materials. By separating the mass of the program to cater for 60 people, the project allows for exploration, discovery and reveal, a true culinary field.
